Terms of Service

Last updated: March 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GroundPulse ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

GroundPulse provides satellite-based infrastructure displacement monitoring, including risk scoring, automated alerts, and regulatory-ready reports. The Service processes publicly available NASA/ESA satellite data and joins it with customer-provided asset information.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you provide to GroundPulse (asset locations, corridor definitions, AOIs). We retain ownership of derived analytics, risk models, and displacement processing algorithms. Reports generated by the Service are licensed to you for your internal use and regulatory submissions.

6. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for the platform. Displacement data updates depend on satellite revisit schedules (6-12 days for Sentinel-1) and NASA/ESA data processing timelines, which are outside our control. We do not guarantee specific data delivery timelines.

7. Limitation of Liability

GroundPulse provides displacement intelligence to supplement, not replace, engineering judgment and field inspection. Risk scores and alerts are decision-support tools. GroundPulse is not liable for infrastructure failures, regulatory penalties, or damages arising from reliance on the Service without independent verification.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you may export your data within 90 days. After 90 days, data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
